Patrick’s backing band features other accomplished musicians who often grace the stage here at The Papermill and around Marin County including: Dave Zirbel (pedal steel & electric guitar), Dan McLaughlin (bass), and Tim Gahagan (drums).

Her music defies genre, driven by an unquenchable curiosity and a desire to explore vulnerable truths that many shy away from.

Deep Thicket Dwellers are four-piece ensemble originating from Alaska and Virginia, now based in Oakland.
Theeir music weaves together Bluegrass, Old-time, Gypsy Jazz and the playful ingenuity of John Hartford into a distinctive style called Hillbilly Jazz. High-energy performances that inspire foot-stomping revelry.

Jenny Kerr is a gifted songwriter, bringing in the traditions of blues and honkey tonk while retaining a singular voice that is honest and strong. Her songs are personal and universal at once, with anthemic stories told simply and well and a balance between vulnerability and ballsy sass.

The band’s diverse sound and high energy shows were met with an overwhelmingly positive response from the start – selling out their first and every show played at their home club – The Sweetwater (over 100)

Dark N Stormy has been delivering sets of original renditions of timeless jam-based and funky classics to packed crowds in the SF Bay Area since 2015. Guitarists Jeff Webb and Pete Petitt lead the way with interwining and alternating string work, complemented by the driving keys of John Amster. A rock-solid rhythm section coupling Kevin Woodhouse on drums!

Lindsay Everly & The Evergreens are a Northern California–based Americana trio blending folk and bluegrass roots with ethereal three-part harmonies. Fronted by singer-songwriter Lindsay Everly, the band features Michael Brown, a gifted lead vocalist and harmony singer, acoustic and bass guitarist. On lead guitar is Sam Smiley, a master of Roy Nichols–style telecaster picking and carrier the band’s signature electric sound. Together, they create an airy, cinematic soundscape.

Mark Karan is an American guitarist and singer. He is best known for his long-term work with former members of the Grateful Dead, in RatDog, the Other Ones, Mickey Hart’s band Planet Drum, and Phil Lesh and Friends.

The Parts is a rock band from Davis, CA. Weird Harold described us as having that “quirky, 90’s college rock sound.” We thought that was a pretty decent summation. Our good friend Stuntrocker Dave said we were reminiscent of 90’s era SST label bands. We liked that too. In any case it’s clear that for the Parts, the early independent label indie rock scene is an important point of reference. But that’s only one part.

Late for the Train blends American roots, jamgrass energy, and rich storytelling into a powerful live show. Rooted in Northern California, their songs explore modern life with depth and soul. After releasing The Flowers of Yesteryear (2024), they’ve toured the West Coast and played major festivals including the Fleadh Cheoil festival in Ireland.

SOUL SKA is a 9-piece San Francisco Bay Area Ska/Rocksteady collective formed in 2014 dedicated to keeping SKA music alive! The band serves up a high-energy mix of original & 1st and 2nd wave Jamaican/UK ska classics.

 The Jerry Hannan Band... exudes “shades of Dylan and John Prine …very Americana with a faint Irish lilt”, Hannan’s songs (like those of Springsteen, Steve Earle and Cat Stevens) speak of our everyday lives and the magic that we sometimes miss. He’s a storyteller, known for his thought provoking lyrics and exuberant performances.  He has been called a Marin County treasure, often funny, sardonic in a good-natured way, highlighting issues like ecology, friendship, and love.

The Asteroid No.4 are an American psych/shoegaze band based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Originating from Philadelphia in the latter half of the 1990s, the band began their relocation to the West Coast in 2011.
